Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIATSL) wishes to engage Indian Nationals who meet with the requirements stipulated for the following positions for ground duties at the Airports / stations given below on a Fixed Term Contract basis for a period of three years which may be renewed subject to their performance and the requirement of the Company - AIATSL, to fill-in the existing vacancies as shown below and to maintain a wait-list for vacancies arising in future. 

1. The number of posts are indicative and reservation will be as per the Presidential Directives. The actual reservation of posts would depend upon the prevailing strength at the time of appointment

Vacancies at Chandigarh

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ALL POSITIONS : 01 MAY 2015

CUSTOMER AGENT 

1.EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : 

Graduate in any discipline/faculty (minimum 3 years’ duration) from a recognized University with knowledge of basic computer operations. 

2. LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY : 

Should be conversant in English. Knowledge of Local & Hindi languages i.e. ability to understand and speak is desirable. 

3. HEIGHT : 

Not below 158 cms. for Male and 152.5 cms. for Female candidates (Relaxation in height of 2.5 cms. to SC/ST candidates and candidates belonging from North-East Region). 

SELECTION PROCEDURE : 

Wile comprise of : 

(a) Group Discussion 

(b) Personal Interview 

(c) Pre-Employment Medical Examination

STARTING EMOLUMENTS : Rs.13,800/- p.m. 

SR. CUSTOMER AGENT

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : 

Graduate in any discipline/faculty (minimum 3 years’ duration) from a recognized University with knowledge of basic computer operations.

Should be conversant in English. Knowledge of Local & Hindi languages i.e. ability to understand and speak is desirable. 

EXPERIENCE : 

5 Years’ experience as Customer Agent working at any Airport and profession in Passenger Handling. HEIGHT : 

Not below 158 cms. for Male and 152.5 cms. for Female candidates (Relaxation in height of 2.5 cms. to SC/ST candidates and candidates belonging from North-East Region).

SELECTION PROCEDURE : 

Will comprise of : 

(a) Personal Interview 

(b) Pre-Employment Medical Examination 

Note: The Company may introduce a stage of Group Discussion at its discretion.

Note: For the post of Security Agent in NR (Northern Region) the candidates interested to work at Agra, Dehradun, Dharamshala, Pantnagar, Chandigarh, Jabalpur, Jodhpur, Srinagar, Amritsar, Bhopal, Jammu, Udaipur, Allahabad, Leh, Raipur, Gwalior, Varanasi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Khajuraho and Kullu stations may also walk-in at the above mentioned venue and date.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ALL POSITIONS : 01 MAY 2015

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : 

Graduate in any discipline (minimum 3 years’ duration) from a recognized University with ability to speak Hindi, English and conversant with local language. In case of Ex-Servicemen who have a service record of minimum 15 years in the Armed Forces & who had been discharged from the services during the preceding two years.

Preferable :

 i) NCC ‘C’ Certificate 

 ii) One year experience in the related area 

 iii) Diploma / Certificate Course in Computer Applications 

EXPERIENCE : 

Experience is not a pre-requisite, however, those having airline security experience with AVSEC Qualifications and X-BIS Certification may also walk-in on the date specified in the above table. 

HEIGHT : 

Not below 172 cms. for Male and 160 cms. for Female candidates. (Relaxation in height of 2.5 cms for SC/ST Candidates, Gorkhas, and those hailing from North-East states and hilly areas on production of proof of domicile of these areas as applicable). Medical Certificate from the Registered Medical Practitioner, indicating actual height in cms. and weight in kgs. must be attached with the application.

EMOLUMENTS : 

Rs. 13,800/- per month. On acquiring AVSEC qualification & X-BIS certification, additional allowances will be paid as applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE : 

(a) Applicants those who have airline security experience with AVSEC Qualification and X-BIS Certification will undergo the selection procedure comprising of Personal Interview only. 

(b) Applicants without experience who fulfill the eligibility criteria of the post, will have to undergo a Physical Endurance Test (PET) comprising running of 100 meters in 16 seconds OR 1000 meters in 4.5 minutes as opted by the candidates, on the same day /following day(s). A relaxation of 6 seconds will be given to female candidates for running of 100 meters in Physical Endurance Test. 

(c) Those who qualify in the PET will have to appear for Report Writing Test (RWT) on the same day / following day(s). Those who qualify in the RWT will have to appear for Personal Interview (PI) on the following day(s). The outstation candidates are advised to make their own arrangement of lodging and boarding at their own cost, if required.

Dress Code : 

(a) The candidates, in their own interest should come prepared for the Physical Endurance Test with appropriate clothing like tracksuit / pair of shorts and running shoes, etc. 

(b) The candidates are required to appear for Personal Interview formally dressed.

AGE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ALL POSITIONS: as on 01st MAY 2015 

General : Not above 28 years (born between 02.05.1987 and 01.05.1997) 

OBC : Not above 31 years (born between 02.05.1984 and 01.05.1997) 

SC/ST : Not above 33 years (born between 02.05.1982 and 01.05.1997) 

Relaxation in age limit : 

The experienced and trained candidates in airline security with AVSEC Qualifications and X-BIS Certification (current or otherwise) will be given relaxation in age to the extent of actual number of years of work experience in the field (The upper age-limit after relaxation will be 40 Years). (Relaxation in age for Ex-servicemen : As per Government guidelines)
