AIIMS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR MBBS 2016

AIIMS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR MBBS COURSE - 2016 

Applications are invited for Registration in the prescribed form through online mode only for the Entrance Examination for admission to the MBBS Course of AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS (Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar, Rishikesh and Raipur). 

Eligibility- 

Candidates who have passed / appearing / appeared for 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate. 

Date & Examination Center-

Sunday, 29th May, 2016 at various centres all over the country. The Entrance Examination will be conducted only in Online Mode [Computer Based Test (CBT) ] in two shifts (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM). 

Online Registration- 

Opens on Monday, the 15th February, 2016 and closes on Tuesday, the 15th March, 2016 at 5:00 PM (1700 Hrs) 

Payment of fee- 

Payment of Online Registration can only be done through online mode (i.e. debit/credit card and Net Banking)

Choice of Exam.City-

After payment is done applicant will have to choose the city for entrance examination. The city will be allotted immediately to the candidate. The city of examination once chosen and allotted will not be changed and any request in this regard will not be entertained. (Select the choice of city with utmost care).

MBBS Admissions 2016 in MGIMS Wardha

Admission Notice

MBBS course for the academic year 2016-2017

Applications are invited on prescribed form for admission to MBBS course for academic year 2016-17. 

Exam. Centers and date of Exam. -

The candidates shall be selected as per their merit in the entrance examination conducted by MGIMS to be held on 17th April 2016 at Nagpur, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Kolkata. Those students who are going to appear in 10+2 higher secondary board examination in March / April 2016 are also eligible to appear in the competitive entrance examination.

Syllabus- 

In the entrance examination the paper of physics, chemistry and biology will have multiple choice questions, while that on Gandhian thought will be of long and short answer type.

The prospectus and application form with syllabus, question papers of Gandhi an thought for the last 6 years, with model question papers of physics chemistry and biology can be had from the office of the dean either by -

i.Paying a sum of Rs. 5000 (including exam fee) personally at the cash counter of dean’s office

ii.Or by remitting a sum of Rs 5000/-(including exam fee) at any branch of state bank of India by challan which can be downloaded from the institute website www.mgims.ac.in. The detailed instructions in this regard are also available on the website.

KEY DATES-

The prospectus and form will be available from 21st December, 2015 to 4th March, 2016. The last date of receipt of filled up application is 18th March, 2016.

Eligibility-

The candidate must attain 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. 
The candidate must have passed 12th standard examination under 10+2 system of Maharashtra state higher secondary education board or equivalent examination of any recognized board or any Indian university with English, physics, chemistry and biology individually in each subject in first attempt. 
The candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks (40% in the case of SC/ ST/ VJ/ NT/ OBC) taken together in physics, chemistry and biology.
The admission is subject to any direction given by the Hon’ble supreme court of India, Hon’ble Bombay high court, Maharashtra University of health sciences, Nashik and the medical council of India.

Note-

1. The fee structure in MGIMS is as applicable to the govt. medical colleges in Maharashtra state. The institute does not have any paid seats.
2. There is no management quota seats at MGIMS, Sevagram.
3. MGIMS have no representative in any part of country for the purpose of PMT examination.
4. All the candidates are selected through all India pre medical entrance examination of MGIMS on merit basis only.

AIPMT 2015 Cancelled by SC

AIPMT 2015 cancelled by the Supreme Court of India
CBSE will re-conduct with in four weeks.

Supreme Court set aside the AIPMT 2015 over irregularities in the conduct of exam. and ordered CBSE to re-conduct it again with in four weeks. The order was passed today by a vacation bench. The apex court bench had last week reserved its verdict after hearing arguments. 
Approximate 6.3 lakh candidates were appeared in the exam.  
The exam. was conducted by CBSE or 3rd May, 2015 at 1050 centers across the country, but Rohtak police registered a case after getting complaints of paper leak through electronic devices. Some beneficiaries are in police custody, but the so called master mind is still out of reach.

All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT)–2015

VETERINARY COUNCIL OF INDIA ADMISSION NOTICE

ALL INDIA PRE-VETERINARY TEST-2015 FOR ADMISSION TO 1st YEAR of B.V.Sc. & A.H. COURSE
Online applications are invited from Indian Nationals for All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT)–2015 to be conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) for filling up 15% of All India Quota seats in Veterinary Colleges in India (except from the State of Jammu & Kashmir).

DATE, TIME AND VENUE OF EXAMINATION: 

Saturday, the 20th June, 2015 (time 2.00 to 5.00 P.M.) at the centres (cities) given in the Information Bulletin.

DURATION OF COURSE: 

The duration of B.V.Sc. & A.H degree course is spread over five complete academic years including a compulsory rotating internship of six months.

TENTATIVE NO. OF SEATS: 300

PATTERN OF EXAMINATION: 

(a) The AIPVT-2015 Examination shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). (b)Question Paper shall be in English and Hindi.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

(i) The candidates should be Indian Nationals (except from the State of Jammu & Kashmir).
(ii) He/She has attained or will attain the age of Seventeen (17) years as on 31st December, 2015. Candidates attaining seventeen years on 1 st of January, 2016 or later will not be eligible to appear at the AIPVT. The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats is 25 years as on 1st December, 2015. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes.
(iii)Candidate must have passed any of the following qualifying examinations : Qualifying Examinations: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 (years) educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
OR
The Intermediate Examination in Science from a recognized University/Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (which shall include a practical test in these subjects) and English as a core course.
a) He/ She has passed the qualifying examination with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core course or an examination equivalent to intermediate Science examination of an Indian University/ Board recognised by the Association of Indian Universities taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English.
b) A candidate under General Category for admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course must have passed in each of these subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects, at the qualifying examination. Admission of students to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course shall be made only on the basis of his/her merit in the competitive entrance examination. No other merit/ weightage shall be considered for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course.
c) In respect of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/ the Scheduled Tribes or other special category of students as specified by the Government from time to time, marks required for admission shall be 10% less than that prescribed for general category. Where the seats reserved for the Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribes students in any State cannot be filled for want of requisite number of candidates fulfilling the minimum requirement prescribed by that State, then such vacancies shall be filled up on All India basis with students belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes getting not less than the minimum prescribed pass percentage.
Physical Disability: A candidate shall not be allowed admission to B.V.Sc & A.H degree course including those admitted under 15% reserved quota of VCI if he/she suffer disabilities in physical fitness as Listed below:-
a. Disability of total body including disability of chest/spine more than 50%,
b. Disability of lower limb of more than 50%,
c. Disability of upper limb,
d. Visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability,
e. Candidates with progressive diseases like myopathies etc.
f. Disabilities which otherwise would interfere in the performance of duties of a veterinarian.
Note: (i) Students from the State of Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible to appear in this test, as the State has not adopted the provisions of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 in the State of Jammu & Kashmir.
(ii) A candidate who is taking the qualifying examination prior to the AIPVT, or whose result is awaited, may also apply and take the examination but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required percentage of marks as per the Minimum Standard of Veterinary Education – Degree Course (B.V.Sc & A.H.) Regulations, 2008 on or before 30th June, 2015 and submit the documentary proof during counselling, if selected.

RESERVATION OF SEATS & ADMISSION IN VETERINARY COLLEGES:

An All India merit list of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the AIPVT–2015 and candidates shall be admitted to seats under 15% All India Quota from the said list only as per the reservation policy.

HOW TO APPLY:

(i) Candidates can apply ONLY ONLINE
(ii) On-line submission of application may be made by accessing the website www.aipvt.vci.nic.in. The duration of submission of application form with requisite fee is given in SCHEDULE/FEE DETAILS. Instructions for submitting online application, payment of fee are available on website.
(iii) Online Application Form cannot be withdrawn once it is submitted successfully.
(iv) The Candidate is NOT required to submit printout of the Confirmation Page to the VCI.

Candidates from State of Jammu & Kashmir shall have to submit an affidavit as mentioned in the Information Bulletin at the time of Counselling. Therefore, the candidates are NOT REQUIRED TO SEND any document(s) to VCI through Post/Fax/By Hand.

AIIMS 2015 Online Registration for MBBS is open


Online Registration for MBBS in AIIMS New Delhi and six other AIIMS at Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, 
Raipur, Rishikesh and Bhubaneswar is in progress.
The Entrance Examination for All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and six other AIIMS for the session 2015 will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) [Online] Examination ONLY. 
 The Examination is proposed to be conducted in two shifts in different centres all over India on Monday, 01st June, 2015.
 Applicants are required to read the Prospectus carefully and fill the application correctly with  regard to all entries including choice of city for appearing in the Entrance Examination 
 Applicants may familiarize themselves with the method of Examination by taking the mock test available in the web site;www.aiimsexams.org

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION-Should have passed the 12thClass under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent Examination of a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State with ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY as subject. 
• Candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subject and expect to pass the Examination with required percentage of marks (as indicated in Sl No. 03 below) are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying Examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks. 
• If the Institute has to consider an Examination of an Indian University or of a foreign/university to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate Science Examination, the candidates shall have to produce a certificate from the  concerned Indian University/Association of the Indian Universities to the effect that the examination passed by him/her is considered by them to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate .
MINIMUM MARKS-The minimum aggregate of the marks in ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY obtained in the qualifying examination required for appearing in this examination are :
• General and OBC candidates: 60%          SC/ST/OPH Candidates: 50%
