M.Ed. (Two Year) Admission Notice (Colleges) 1/2015

Applications are invited for admission to the M.Ed. (Two Year) regular courses in the following affiliated college of education for the academic session 2015-16

1. Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal College of Education,Barnala Road,Sirsa 

2. Defence College of Education, Tohana (Fatehabad) 

3. Guru Dronacharya College of Education, Vill.Bhuna (Fatehabad) 

4. Surya College of Education, Vill. Baliala, Tohana (Fatehabad) 

5. Shah Satnam Ji College of Education, Begu Road, Sirsa. 

Eligibility : 

B.Ed. or B.A. B.Ed. or B.Sc. B.Ed. of this University or an examination recognized as equivalent to B.Ed. with not less than 55% marks in aggregate. 

Relaxation in eligibility condition: 

Relaxation in minimum eligibility condition will be given to SC/ST of Haryana State and Persons with disabilities of all India candidates a per University rule. Note: There shall be no rounding off of percentage of marks of the qualifying examination from 0.5% and above to next higher number for determining the eligibility i.e. 54.5% and above will not be rounded off to 55%.

SANCTIONED SEATS: 

50 seats in each affiliated College.

Last date for receipt of Application Form for admission to M.Ed.(two year) in Office of Chairperson, Department of Education, 1st Floor, Tagore Bhawan, CDLU, Sirsa is 23. 10. 2015 by 5.00 p.m.

Exam. Fee-

Rs. 600/- for General Category.

Rs. 150/- for SC/BC/PWD/SBC/EBPGGC Categories of Haryana.

Date of Entrance Test : 

26-10-2015 at 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. 

Test Centre : 

Tagore Bhawan, CDLU, Sirsa 

PROCEDURE FOR PREPARING MERIT- 

Admission to M.Ed.(two year) course will be made strictly on the basis of merit in Entrance Test and no other weightage will be given. NOTE: In case two or more candidates in merit list have equal mark in Entrance Test, the marks obtained in the qualifying Examination will be taken into consideration. In case there is still a tie, the candidate senior in age will be considered first. 

Counselling-

Counselling will be held in the Committee Room, CV Raman Bhawan, (Science Block), CDLU, Sirsa for admission to M.Ed.(two year) in affiliated colleges from 10:00 a.m. to.1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m as per schedule given below:- 

1. Date of 1st Counselling : 03.11.2015 

2.Display of vacant seats : 04.11.2015 

3. Date of 2nd Counselling : 05.11.2015 

4. Display of vacant seats : 06.11.2015 

5. Date of 3rd Counselling (if required) : 07.11.2015 

6. Fees have to be deposited by the selected candidates on spot on the day of counselling. 

NOTE:: (i) Once a seat is allotted to a candidate, will not be changed. 

(ii) *Any change in centre will be given on University Website: www.cdlu.ac.in. (iii) Status of vacant seats will be displayed on University website/counselling centre.
