CU Haryana Admission in B.Voc Programmes 2015

Applications are invited for admission to the newly Introduced three year regular (full-time) B.Voc (Bachelor of Vocation) degree programmes. These are job oriented programme whose curriculum includes compulsory theory classes along with practical and on-the job training at regular intervals. These programmes have been funded by University Grants Commission (UGC) which has launched a scheme on skills development based higher education as part of college/university education, leading to Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) Degree with multiple exits such as Diploma/Advanced Diploma under the NSQF (National skill Qualifications framework).

The proposed vocational programmes will be a judicious mix of skills, professional education related to logistics and also appropriate content of general education. It is designed with the objective of equipping the students to cope with the emerging trends and challenges in the Retail & Logistics Management, & Tourism & Hospitality Management sector. These programme provide an option of multiple exit points at the end of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years

Award Duration 

Diploma- After 1 year 

Advanced Diploma- After 2 years 

B.Voc Degree- After 3 years

Admission to the following B.Voc programmes are on offer during the year 2015-16: 

 B.Voc (Retail & Logistics Management) (50 seats) 

 B.Voc (Tourism & Hospitality Management) (50 seats)

Eligibility: 

Candidates with 10+2/Inter/Higher Secondary in any stream from recognized boards are eligible for applying to B.Voc Programme. Candidates whose results are awaited can also apply on provisional basis. Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (carrying 50 % Weightage) & screening Test/Interview (carrying 50 % Weightage) or any other method as may be decided later on by the selection committee.

Application Form may be downloaded from the University Website www.cuh.ac.in w.e.f 5th August 2015. Application form complete in all respect is to be submitted to Office of Assistant Registrar (Admissions), Room No. 30, Administrative Block, Central University of Haryana, Jant-Pali, Mahendergarh-123029. 

Application Fee: 

Candidates are required to submit fee of Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for SC/ST/PH) for B.Voc. Programmes through Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank in favour of Central University of Haryana payable at Mahendergarh along with each Application Form.
