Haryana B.Tech. Prospectus 

Haryana Government has constituted Haryana State Technical Education Society–HSTES (formerly known as Haryana State Counseling Society-HSCS) in the Department of Technical Education for implementation of transparent and uniform procedure for admissions to various post graduate, graduate and diploma courses in different disciplines of Engineering, Technology, Architecture & Planning, Pharmacy, Management etc. in the State. The Society also conducts State level Diploma Entrance Test (DET) for admission to Diploma (Engg.) course and On-Line Entrance Tests for admission to Diploma (Engg.) Lateral Entry, Lateral Entry in BE/ B. Tech. and MCA courses. The admissions to BE/ B.Tech courses are made on the basis Inter-se-merit of combined merit of JEE (Main) conducted by the CBSE and Class 12th exam on All India Basis. Admissions to B. Arch. Course are made on the basis of rank obtained in NATA conducted by COA and admissions to MBA course are made on the basis of highest score obtained by a candidate in CMAT conducted by AICTE. The admissions to Diploma (Pharmacy) course are made on the basis of merit of qualifying examination.

ELIGIBILITY AND BASIS OF ADMISSION 

A. Minimum Academic Qualifications for B.E./B.Tech.: 

Should be a pass in 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: (a) Chemistry (b) Bio-Technology (c) Computer Science (d) Biology

Basis of admission for B.E./B.Tech: 

40% weightage would be accorded for Class 12 th exam and 60% weightage will be given for performance in JEE main exam. On the basis Inter-se-merit of combined merit of JEE Main- 2015 conducted by CBSE, New Delhi and Class 12 th exam on All India Basis.
